Remember to do Faith 5 at home each day & attend our Faith Formation Education Hour on Sundays at 10:15

for Children, Teens, Parents, other Adults

 G.I.F.T. Generations in Faith Together – Sunday, Oct. 8th 10:15 a.m.

Meet in the Fellowship Hall during Faith Formation Hour for all ages. Join in as we share Bible learning and discussion together.

          “Youth Group” time Sunday, Oct. 8 – 6:30-8:00 p.m. for 7-12th graders

Join us for an evening of recreation, campfire, hot topic video & more

          We are hosting “Family Promise” Homeless Families here Oct. 1-8, 2017

Teens are needed to unload cots from the trailer at the end of Education Hour and Adults are needed to set up the rooms AFTER Education Hour. Sign up to volunteer on the sheets in the Gathering area.

 

30 Hour Famine/BOX CITY/Harvest Fest

Old fashion Oil Lamp Worship Service at 5:00 p.m. Break the fast with Holy Communion         

Harvest Fest with Food & Activities to follow after worship

BOX CITY for 7-12th graders to follow worship (set up boxes at 3:00)

Sat. Oct. 21st

Save the date: October 21, 2017. The Youth & Adults that choose to participate in the 30-Hr. Famine will begin to fast on Friday, Oct. 20th at 11:30 a.m. or later, depending on your lunch hour at school. We will discuss more details about the 30-Hr. Famine about drinking juice, broth, smoothies and getting donations to support world hunger. We will be doing this as a reminder of how many go hungry and homeless in our world.   Youth in 7-12th grades can arrive at 3:00 on Saturday to get your boxes set up.   The 30-Hr. Famine ends at worship with the Breaking of the Bread or Holy Communion. Food, fun, and activities to follow.   More exact details will be given out in early October.

Teens, bring all the things you need to sleep outside in a box that night. Dress appropriately for the weather.   ARRIVE AT 3:00 TO SET UP OUR CITY. BRING Pumpkin carving tools and DUCT TAPE! BRING SLEEPING BAG, ETC.   Any questions or to RSVP, text or email Justine or sign up on the Youth bulletin board in the hallway.

7th-12th Graders:   We are going to be “Bible Smugglers”

1:30 – 4:30 Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017

We will either meet here at 1:30 and go to Wooded Hills Church on Hwy 164 in Colgate for a unique experience you won’t want to miss. Join us that morning for Worship, our Faith Formation hour, and then return at 1:30 to go as a group to go to “Bible Smugglers”.   Or we may just have lunch here, hang out, and then leave at 1:30. Cost is only $7.00 but we need to order our tickets ahead of time.   Sign up on the Youth bulletin board, or text or email Justine so we know who will participate. Parents can join us and are needed to drive Any questions, ask Justine.
